Who knows and who can say

From where all this came from, how this happened

The gods themselves are later than the creation

So who truly knows from where we have arisen?

Is there a Creator? Or is there none?

He who surveys all from the highest heaven

Whether He created this, or whether He didn't

He knows... Or perhaps He doesn't know even...

Nasadiya Sukta features as the title track and the end credits track of Bharat Ek Khoj TV series from the 1990s, which was based on the "Discovery of India" book by Pdt. Nehru. 
I loved the track for its tune and rhythm back then, now I love it for its meaning!
